The Staff Nurse (Nights) — Float works onsite in Houston, TX, on a 7 p.m.–7 a.m. schedule with rotating days and every other weekend as needed. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Set patient goals and assess physical, psychological, social, and continuing-care needs
• develop and modify nursing care plans
• provide health teaching and discharge planning
• document patient responses and nursing interventions
• conduct safety rounds
• administer medications and prescribed treatments safely
• engage patients in treatment
• participate in performance improvement, committees, and staff or student orientation
• relieve the charge nurse when assigned.
