What you'll do

• Perform oral prophylaxis and scaling
• take and develop diagnostic radiographs
• observe oral structures and report findings to the dentist
• provide fluoride treatments to children up to age 16
• instruct patients in oral hygiene
• provide off-site preventive and routine care through community programs
• assist the dentist when the dental assistant is absent
• supervise and instruct dental interns
• coordinate outreach care management and screening records
• organize outreach fairs and dental supplies
• implement the hygiene recall system.
