The Job Coach, Supported Employment role is onsite in Woodstock, CT. Compensation is $18.54 per hour. The Arc Eastern Connecticut provides residential, daytime, employment, and social supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The coach trains, supervises, and supports participants in community employment settings. The role helps participants pursue work, meet employer production standards, and participate more fully in their communities through individualized support and advocacy.

What you'll do

• Train, supervise, and support participants at community worksites
• provide individualized services and advocacy
• monitor work quality and employer production standards
• serve as liaison between assigned worksites and The Arc
• train job-site personnel
• develop contacts with potential employers
• arrange or provide transportation and teach travel skills as needed
• maintain assessment and service-plan records
• support safety and report incidents.
