Clinical Psychologist

Job overview

The Clinical Psychologist role is onsite in McFarland, CA, with compensation of $85 per hour. The GEO Group provides correctional and community reentry services, including evidence-based rehabilitation. What you'll do

• Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnose disorders
• recommend treatment
• assess mental status and determine when higher-level care or observation may be needed
• take emergency calls as required by client or facility requirements
• provide psychotherapy or counseling
• refer patients to appropriate licensed professionals
• monitor medication compliance and refer possible side effects
• train staff on suicide-risk recognition, prevention, and crisis intervention
• document services and maintain records
• consult with medical and psychiatry providers
• participate in quality-of-care review.
