Certified Nursing Assistant

Job overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant role is onsite in Parkland, FL, with shifts from 3 p.m.–11 p.m. and 7 a.m.–3 p.m., including some weekends. Pay is $16 per hour. The role supports residents at Aston Gardens at Parkland Commons, part of Discovery Senior Living. The CNA provides hands-on care and physical and emotional support while helping residents maintain dignity, safety, and independence. The role includes assisting with daily routines, observing and reporting changes, and contributing to a comfortable, home-like environment.

What you'll do

• Provide care to an assigned group of residents
• observe, document, and report changes in condition
• respond to call systems and alarms
• assist with continence management, meals, activities of daily living, and resident laundry
• maintain cleanliness and follow infection-prevention practices
• promote resident independence and dignity.
