What you'll do

• Assist the supervisor in coordinating product assembly workers
• review production schedules, specifications, and priorities to plan assignments
• designate duties and lead department activities
• revise assignments as priorities or work availability change
• explain assembly procedures and interpret work orders
• requisition and distribute supplies and materials
• help resolve technical problems and advise the supervisor of complex issues
• maintain production, attendance, and component-waste reports.
