CDL Class B Driver

CDL Driver - Class B. This is an onsite position in West Palm Beach, FL. The pay rate is $22 per hour. PODS is a leading provider of moving and storage solutions. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a professional rapport.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites in a safe manner.
• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Accept add-on deliveries as required.
• Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
• Clean and inspect containers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment.
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts.
• Provide backup for storage center functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

Minimum 3 months of experience employed as a CDL driver.
