What you'll do

• Determine specimen acceptability
• perform routine and complex technical procedures under departmental procedures
• monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instruments
• make technical decisions about testing and problem solving
• prepare, test, and evaluate reagents or controls
• report accurate and timely results
• document preventive maintenance and quality control
• replenish bench supplies
• assist with specimen processing
• maintain a safe work environment and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Why this role

An associate degree in a relevant science or laboratory field, or meeting local CLIA and state requirements, is required. ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.
