Mainframe Automation / NetView Engineer – Hybrid

The Mainframe Automation / NetView Engineer role is hybrid, with onsite work three days per week in Phoenix, AZ; Charlotte, NC; or Plano, TX. Compensation is $60 per hour. The engineer administers NetView, develops REXX and CLIST automation, and builds event- and message-driven workflows for monitoring, recovery, and incident response. What you'll do

• Administer IBM NetView for z/OS and its automation infrastructure
• develop REXX, CLIST, and NetView Command List solutions
• create recovery procedures and reusable automation frameworks
• maintain event and message automation, notifications, escalations, and Automation Tables
• implement monitoring and alerting
• support incident resolution and root-cause analysis
• integrate with z/OS Communications Server, VTAM, TCP/IP, OMEGAMON, and enterprise monitoring platforms
• collaborate with operations, network, security, and systems programming teams.
