What you'll do

• Provide culturally appropriate nutrition education and direct patient care
• assess clients and develop nutrition care plans with clients and families
• prepare education materials
• teach clients, staff, and community members
• consult with staff and document care
• use diabetes registries and referral systems
• evaluate diabetes and wound-care nutrition programs
• and coordinate with tribal and other nutrition-support programs.
