What you'll do

• Answer and route calls while protecting patient confidentiality
• make follow-up calls and schedule appointments
• greet patients and communicate arrivals or delays to clinical staff
• scan documents into electronic medical records
• maintain patient accounts and verify demographics and insurance
• register patients
• maintain the reception area
• collect and record payments
• balance daily reports and petty cash
• and complete end-of-day spreadsheets and deposit sheets.
