Security Operations Engineer

Job overview

The Security Operations Engineer role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and may be based in Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; Denver, CO; or Dallas, TX. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Coordinate security operations with MSSPs
• maintain the security and privacy risk register
• develop security policies, procedures, runbooks, and incident documentation
• coordinate audit readiness and evidence collection
• implement and improve controls across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems
• administer identity and access processes
• support endpoint security, patching, configuration, and asset lifecycle
• maintain technology inventories
• partner on vulnerability remediation and resilience
• automate workflows
• support monitoring and incident response
• conduct authorized vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
• analyze findings and recommend remediation
• support privacy, compliance, vendor reviews, and governance frameworks.
