The Cardiovascular Technician — Cath Lab role is onsite at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Pay is $65–$70 per hour. The technician supports the invasive cardiology team in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The technician assists with Cath Lab procedures, monitoring, equipment operation, sterile preparation, and post-procedure care. The role contributes to safe and effective procedural care and includes participation in 24/7 STEMI and interventional radiology on-call rotations.

What you'll do

• Scrub, circulate, and operate imaging equipment during Cath Lab procedures
• assess patients and collect vital signs
• initiate IVs and administer medications under supervision
• prepare patients using sterile technique and assist with hemostasis
• operate monitoring systems, ECGs, pressure waveforms, and contrast injectors
• assist with cardiovascular procedures
• respond to emergencies using ACLS protocols
• maintain logs, quality control, and inventory
• support patient transport
• participate in on-call rotations.
