The Children and Youth Services Associate II role is onsite in Seattle, WA, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with some potential flexibility. Target starting pay is $23.69 per hour. Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission’s stated mission is to bring the love of Jesus and hope for a new life to homeless neighbors. The associate helps develop and deliver programs for children, youth, and families at Women & Children’s Ministries sites. Through educational, spiritual, and social activities, family programming, and volunteer support, the role contributes to the program’s goals for children and youth in enhanced and recovery shelters.

What you'll do

• Assist with developing programs and curriculum for children and youth
• implement Bible clubs, discipleship, educational support, and school-break activities
• plan monthly family activities
• coordinate childcare teams for special events
• maintain relationships with guests and staff
• support volunteers
• maintain records
• ensure programs align with the Mission’s statement, goals, and values.
