Multifamily Maintenance Technician

What you'll do

• Diagnose and perform routine repairs in units and common areas, which may include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair
• complete assigned work orders
• conduct scheduled and monthly preventive maintenance inspections
• prepare vacant units for new residents
• respond promptly to emergency requests and address safety hazards
• follow safety procedures and building code requirements
• maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and inventory
• document work
• and communicate with property management, residents, and vendors.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of apartment or facilities maintenance experience, basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Snow plowing experience is desirable. On-call availability may be required; a company vehicle is supplied.
