Casual Recovery Support Specialist

The Casual Recovery Support Specialist role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with openings for 6:30 AM–2:30 PM and 2:30 PM–10:30 PM shifts. Compensation is not specified. Sojourner House provides faith-based recovery services to women and their children. The specialist supports residents’ recovery and safety through client-focused engagement, wellness and coping-skills support, transportation to appointments as needed, and assistance with childcare and household-management skills. What you'll do

• Engage with and support women in the recovery program
• model and support health, wellness, and healthy coping skills

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of applicable paid experience are required. Certified Addiction Counselor and/or Certified Recovery Specialist credentials are preferred; a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and clearances for working with children are required.
