Behavior Health Technician

Job overview

The Behavior Health Technician role is based in Palisades Park, NJ, with work in clients’ homes, schools, and community settings. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. Connect ABA + Therapy provides applied behavior analysis services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the technician implements individualized behavior plans, teaches functional skills, collects progress data, and collaborates with families and the interdisciplinary team to support client goals.

What you'll do

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA
• provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques, including discrete trial training and naturalistic teaching
• collect client progress and behavior data
• support communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living skills
• collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team
• communicate progress with clients, families, and caregivers
• participate in ongoing training.
