Infant Care Specialist

The Infant Care Specialist role is onsite in Spokane, WA. Pay is $18–$23 per hour. Maddie’s Place provides infant care in a nursery and supports a calm, healing environment for infants and families. The specialist provides direct infant care and supports family experiences as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role follows individualized care plans and safe-care practices, communicates observations to registered nurses, and helps maintain a clean, prepared nursery.

What you'll do

• Prepare bottles and feed infants according to care plans
• bathe, change, hold, and comfort infants
• follow infection prevention and safe sleep practices
• communicate observations and changes to the registered nurse and team
• chart feeds as directed
• clean and sanitize, handle laundry, restock supplies, and prepare care areas
• support families and protect confidentiality. Does not administer medications or perform clinical assessments
• those remain RN responsibilities.
