What you'll do

• Locate individuals named in criminal and civil papers
• serve warrants and execute pickup orders
• arrest and transport individuals
• maintain safety and security in jail and court facilities
• process incoming inmates and their property
• transport and guard inmates in court
• monitor inmate activity
• conduct security inspections and searches
• respond to questions and requests
• support inmate needs and mediate disputes
• complete activity reports and maintain records.
