What you'll do

• Plan, direct, administer, and coordinate Emergency Department activities
• supervise the department and its services
• oversee the Trauma Program through supervision of the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Registrar
• determine staffing needs
• support hiring and staff evaluation
• coordinate with other nursing units
• promote patient rights and safety
• prepare and adhere to the departmental budget
• train staff on equipment, mock events, policies, and compliance
• support the Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing Administration Team.

Why this role
