Early Intervention Specialist

The Early Intervention Specialist role is onsite in Santa Maria, CA, providing services to families of infants and toddlers through age three. Pay is $20–$28 per billable hour, with paid drive time and mileage. Compass Center is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy agency serving children and families. The specialist provides individualized intervention for children with developmental delays, addressing developmental goals across areas such as communication, cognition, motor skills, sensory development, socialization, self-care, and emotional development. The role supports children’s progress through family visits, tailored activities, and collaboration with service coordinators.

What you'll do

• Provide weekly one-on-one intervention visits
• schedule with families
• maintain an assigned caseload
• design, implement, and adapt activities for developmental needs
• model effective adult-child interactions
• provide written information on parenting and child development as needed
• maintain confidential records and log family and service coordinator contacts.
