Electrician Technician

Job overview

The Electrician Technician role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with compensation of $28 per hour. The position supports production operations at a manufacturing facility. The role exists to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install facility and production electrical systems. Preventive maintenance and timely response to equipment issues help reduce downtime, support plant performance, and ensure electrical work follows safety procedures and applicable codes.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• install, test, repair, and maintain wiring, motors, control panels, transformers, lighting, and power distribution equipment
• perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• respond to breakdowns and electrical emergencies
• interpret schematics and technical manuals
• maintain VFDs, sensors, relays, motor controls, and instrumentation
• document work
• support upgrades and installations
• and collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
