What you'll do

• Assist the dentist chairside
• take radiographs and impressions and chart accurately
• set up, break down, and turn over operatories
• sterilize instruments and follow infection-control standards
• explain treatment plans and discuss fees, insurance estimates, and payment options
• schedule follow-up visits, confirm appointments, fill openings, and follow up on unscheduled treatment
• coordinate handoffs with the front desk.
