Job overview

The Cook – Assisted Living role is onsite in Corinth, MS, with pay of $10–$12 per hour. The schedule includes 10 a.m.–6 p.m. throughout the week and 6 a.m.–6 p.m. every other weekend. The cook supports meal service for an assisted living community. The role exists to prepare and serve home-style meals for residents while maintaining safe, sanitary kitchen operations. It also supports food preparation, ordering, kitchen organization, and department records.

What you'll do

• Cook home-style meals for large groups
• read and follow recipes
• organize food preparation, cleaning, meal service, ordering, and kitchen operations
• purchase food service supplies and raw food
• maintain sanitation and health standards
• keep department records
• assist with dining room service.
