Automotive Inspector

The Automotive Inspector role is onsite in Plain City, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Annual earning potential is $60,000–$80,000, paid per qualifying inspection performed. ER Autocare is a growing, multi-location auto service company focused on quality, efficiency, and customer care. The inspector identifies vehicle service, repair, and safety needs through detailed inspections, prepares estimates, and explains findings to customers. The role also performs quality-control checks and works with the Lube Technician and Store Manager to support efficient, accurate service.

What you'll do

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections, targeting completion within 20 minutes
• work with a Lube Technician to complete oil changes and inspections within 15 minutes or less
• identify service, repair, and safety needs
• prepare estimates in the shop management system
• explain findings to customers
• perform quality-control checks and cross-check technicians’ work
• partner with the Store Manager on process and continuous-improvement projects.
