What you'll do

• Gather patient concerns and medical history and record information in medical records
• perform visual acuity, stereopsis, color vision, visual field, and tonometry tests
• use ophthalmic instruments and administer eye drops
• assess pupils
• maintain exam room supplies and readiness
• explain specified patient agreements
• maintain EHR records and serve as a scribe, including coding and documentation
• follow HIPAA and safety requirements.
