The Drilling Operator role is onsite in Springfield, MO, with pay of $25 to $30 per hour and a $65-per-day per diem. The position includes travel via company vehicle for up to 10 days at a time, out-of-state travel, and extended stays. Environmental Works performs drilling, sampling, and remediation work. The operator supports drilling and environmental remediation projects by operating and maintaining drilling equipment, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and handling waste removal. The role also requires safe vehicle and equipment operation, accurate work records, and compliance with site safety plans and applicable OSHA and DOT requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform physical labor for drilling, soil and groundwater sample collection, waste removal, and remediation
• assist with Geoprobe, air rotary, and sonic rigs
• inspect and maintain rigs and equipment
• complete work, equipment, drilling, time, and maintenance records
• operate vehicles and tools
• follow site safety plans, OSHA requirements, and PPE rules
• respond to emergency locations with limited notice
• travel for projects, including stays of up to 10 days.
