The Post-Frame Foreman role is onsite in the LaSalle/Peru and Rockford, IL areas and surrounding Northern Illinois communities. Compensation is $80,000–$100,000 per year. The role supports FBi Buildings’ construction operations building post-frame, agricultural, commercial, and wood-framed structures. This hands-on crew leader coordinates people, materials, tools, and daily production while working alongside the crew. The foreman helps deliver safe, efficient construction and quality structures, with responsibility for training crew members and organizing work from plans and drawings.

What you'll do

• Lead, train, and develop a construction crew
• work alongside crew members
• lead construction of post-frame, agricultural, commercial, and wood-framed buildings
• perform and oversee structural carpentry and framing
• lay out buildings and organize work from plans
• read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
• set daily production expectations and plan to avoid jobsite delays
• monitor workmanship and quality.
