Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is an onsite, full-time position in Deckerville, MI. Pay is $16 per hour. The role follows food-handling and sanitation procedures and reports food refusals, equipment problems, and safety concerns to supervisors.

What you'll do

• Handle and store food according to facility procedures and food-safety requirements
• assist with preparation and standardized recipes
• operate food-preparation equipment
• set up tray lines and assemble trays according to resident diet cards
• verify correct diets and trays
• deliver trays and nourishment
• report food refusals
• clean dishes, equipment, and workspaces
• report equipment problems, pests, and injuries
• communicate with supervisors
• assist with inspection preparation.
