What you'll do

• Direct nursing care activities during the shift
• meet residents’ nursing and rehabilitation needs
• maintain care plans
• follow physician orders and provide or assist with nursing care and treatments
• transcribe orders
• review records and document nursing notes
• assess residents as needed and report significant findings
• administer medication according to procedure when applicable
• initiate emergency procedures
• oversee charge nurse and CNA performance
• support resident and family relations.
