What you'll do

• Learn to estimate food needs from menus and obtain ingredients
• prepare and cook food using standardized recipes and production records
• measure and mix ingredients
• assist with baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and food portioning under guidance
• maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• follow sanitation and safety practices
• interact courteously with customers and coworkers.
