What you'll do

• Assess animal requirements through examinations, care-plan and record review, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• assist veterinarians with examinations and operations
• provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients
• maintain medical records, equipment, and inventory
• communicate patient status to owners as directed
• prepare and sanitize clinical areas and instruments.
