Motorist Operations Technician (MOT Technician)

The Motorist Operations Technician role is onsite in Fort Myers, FL. Compensation is $16.50 per hour. Arrive Alive Traffic Control supports safe traffic movement through work zones and provides traffic management services to utility, municipal, contractor, and special-event customers. The technician sets up and maintains traffic controls around construction sites, helping protect the public and work crews while keeping traffic moving safely. The role includes equipment handling, flagging and signaling, site checks, and documentation in accordance with applicable standards and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up and dismantle lane closures and traffic-control equipment
• load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades
• direct traffic using flagging and signaling techniques
• inspect equipment and tools
• maintain clean and organized worksites
• complete job paperwork
• monitor site conditions and adjust traffic-control measures as needed.
