Field Project Engineer

Compensation is $87,000–$102,000 per year. The Field Project Engineer role is onsite in Concord, CA. Hazen and Sawyer provides technical solutions and client service in water-related work. The engineer supports and coordinates construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, assisting the Resident Engineer with construction management, coordination, and inspection. The work helps ensure project activities align with contract documents and are communicated and documented for project stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Review project specifications and drawings
• provide document control
• assist with review of RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
• maintain the change-order log
• help prepare meeting agendas and document meetings
• coordinate communication among contractors, design engineers, stakeholders, and owners
• inspect contractor operations for contract compliance
• prepare sketches, data, and progress reports
• use project documentation software such as PROCORE.
