Job overview

The Kia Certified Master Technician role is onsite in Olathe, KS, with stated compensation of $35–$52 plus flat-rate hour. The technician joins Oakes Auto Group’s growing service team, supporting manufacturer standards, shop productivity, and customer satisfaction. The role performs advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across vehicle systems, documents findings, and communicates with service advisors and leadership. It also serves as a technical resource by sharing knowledge and assisting fellow technicians with advanced diagnostics.

What you'll do

• Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using manufacturer-approved tools and procedures
• diagnose and repair vehicle electrical, engine, transmission, drivability, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
• complete customer-pay, warranty, recall, and maintenance repairs
• document findings and recommendations
• communicate with service advisors and leadership
• assist with technician development and advanced diagnostics.
