What you'll do

• Prepare trays and sterilize instruments
• pass and receive instruments
• document treatment in electronic charts
• mix dental materials
• assist with oral evacuation and retraction
• expose and develop dental radiographs
• seat, prepare, and dismiss patients
• take blood pressure and oral temperature
• prepare and clean operatories
• manage inventory and routine equipment maintenance
• obtain medical histories
• follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements
• support scheduling, insurance verification, patient follow-up, and connections to resources.
