The Field Applications Engineer (NCG) – Datacenter and Power Solutions role is onsite in Austin, TX, with regular access to Renesas' Austin laboratory and customer sites in the area. Working alongside experienced applications and power-systems engineers, the role helps validate and troubleshoot power-management solutions and supports customer designs from concept through production. What you'll do

• Support strategic customer programs through design, validation, and production
• assist with validation, characterization, and optimization of digital multiphase power solutions
• conduct laboratory testing of efficiency, load transients, sequencing, telemetry, protection, faults, and power rails
• support board bring-up, power-supply debugging, and system validation
• participate in schematic, component-selection, and PCB-layout reviews
• prepare technical reports and customer presentations
• assist with automated validation and data-analysis workflows
• collaborate with marketing, engineering, product-line, and sales teams
• travel periodically to customer sites.
