Identity and Access Management Architect

Job overview

The Identity and Access Management Architect role is remote. Compensation is $85 per hour. The three-month assignment focuses on identity security architecture for AI agents and non-human identities. The architect assesses current identity environments and designs enterprise controls and governance for AI agents, machine identities, service accounts, APIs, and bots. This work supports secure adoption of agentic AI and autonomous systems through identity lifecycle controls, privileged access management, and alignment with security frameworks.

What you'll do

• Assess AI agents, machine identities, service accounts, APIs, bots, and non-human identities
• design Zero Trust-aligned reference architecture
• define identity lifecycle and privileged-access governance
• establish credential management and runtime enforcement controls
• map architecture to NIST, CIS, and enterprise standards
• conduct gap assessments
• lead workshops and architecture reviews
• present recommendations to senior leadership.
