Development Lead — PAE Fires Applications

The Development Lead works onsite in Huntsville, AL, for a stated salary range of $98,000–$137,000 per year. PingWind provides services to the federal government, and this role leads software work supporting PAE Fires acquisition functions and mission applications. The lead directs application development and sustainment across the software lifecycle, serving as a technical point of contact for Government applications and platforms. The role helps keep systems secure, available, maintainable, and aligned with business and mission requirements through technical leadership, controlled releases, and coordination with infrastructure, database, network, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead software design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, modernization, and retirement
• serve as technical point of contact for configuration, installation, support, and platform dependencies
• direct coding, code review, release planning, and documentation
• maintain development through production environments
• monitor database capacity, availability, and performance
• follow development standards and ticketing processes
• maintain security and access controls and coordinate vulnerability remediation
• support GOTS, MOTS, and COTS applications including .NET, SBM, and SharePoint
• coordinate releases with technical and customer stakeholders.
