What you'll do

• Process weekly, biweekly, and semimonthly payroll
• verify hours, employee changes, bonuses, and commissions
• calculate deductions, garnishments, PTO accruals, and benefit withholdings
• review registers and resolve discrepancies
• manage payroll tax filings and payments
• answer employee and manager questions
• reconcile payroll to the general ledger
• support audits and year-end close
• document procedures
• identify process risks and improvements
• help evaluate or migrate payroll systems
• onboard businesses into payroll processes.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of hands-on payroll processing, working knowledge of federal and multistate payroll rules, experience with a major payroll platform, and strong Excel skills. FPC or CPP certification is a plus.
