IT Support Technician

Job overview

The IT Support Technician role is onsite in Gurnee, IL, with a first-shift schedule of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pay is $27 per hour. The technician supports a client’s warehouse and office employees with workplace technology. The technician sets up, maintains, and troubleshoots computers and peripherals, resolves common user issues, and documents work. The role helps keep warehouse and office technology available and escalates more complex problems when needed.

What you'll do

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and other workplace technology
• assist employees with computer, software, login, and connectivity issues
• install and configure computers, software, and peripherals
• perform basic maintenance and updates
• prepare equipment for new employees and workstations
• organize IT equipment and document issues and completed work
• escalate complex problems
• provide timely support to warehouse and office employees.
