Development Events Manager

The Development Events Manager role is onsite in Santa Barbara, CA, full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $65,000–$75,000 annually. St. Vincent’s is a community human service agency serving children, families, and seniors; this position supports its Development Department and mission. The manager coordinates fundraising, donor relations, communications, and special events to strengthen community engagement and support the organization’s programs. The role leads major annual events and supports appeals and capital campaign initiatives while maintaining donor records and stewardship.

What you'll do

• Provide administrative support to the Development Department
• assist with donor, foundation, and grant research and grant preparation
• maintain donor records and mailing lists
• lead planning and execution of the Annual Golf Charity Classic and Annual Fashion Show & Luncheon
• coordinate auction procurement, sponsorship materials, communications, and event logistics
• create marketing collateral and coordinate annual appeals
• update social media
• process and record donations
• serve as contact for event sponsors, vendors, donors, volunteers, and community partners
• support capital campaign initiatives and historical events.
