The Radiographer is an onsite, full-time role based in Bowie, MD. The salary range is $35-$40 per hour, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions. This role supports the clinical team at Express Care Urgent Care Centers. This role is responsible for performing radiographic exams, providing patient education, and ensuring radiation safety. The radiographer also assists with basic patient care, vital sign measurement, and simple laboratory procedures to support the urgent care workflow.

What you'll do

• Performing Radiographic Exams: Taking x-rays while following established protocols and positioning techniques.
• Patient Education: Provide patients with explanations of procedures and appropriate positioning.
• Radiation Safety: Practicing radiation protection measures.
• Basic Patient Care: Assist with triaging, discharge, and other basic patient care.
• Vital sign measurement: Measure and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and height/weight.
• Basic lab procedures: Perform simple laboratory tests such as EKGs, urine specimen collection, and influenza nasal swabs.
