CNC Setup Machinist – 2nd Shift

The CNC Setup Machinist – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with compensation of $26–$45 per hour. Assurance Manufacturing makes precision sheet metal products through fabrication, stamping, machining, and assembly, and operates as an employee-owned company. This role sets up and operates CNC machines, checks parts against drawing requirements, and works with Quality to validate first-piece approval. It contributes to production by following work orders and inspection procedures, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and reporting equipment or material issues.

What you'll do

• Set up machines using approved CNC programs and work with Quality to validate first-piece requirements
• operate CNC machines and periodically check parts against drawings
• follow work orders, routings, instructions, drawings, and specifications
• gather tools and materials
• inspect parts
• maintain equipment and work area
• report faulty equipment or defective materials
• follow safety rules
• cross-train as needed for production demands.
