The Machine Maintenance Technician position is onsite in Sparks, NV, with stated pay of $18 per hour. Reno Staffing is recruiting for an organic tea manufacturer in the Sparks area; the listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The technician maintains production and support equipment to improve reliability, safety, and equipment life while reducing breakdowns. The role supports manufacturing operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment installation, and maintenance recordkeeping.

What you'll do

• Support installation and commissioning of equipment
• schedule and prioritize preventive maintenance and repairs
• analyze equipment breakdowns and develop preventive measures
• advise and mentor employees on safety
• manage maintenance supply inventories
• maintain electrical, lighting, heating, and air-conditioning systems
• maintain vehicles and forklifts and their service records
• maintain equipment histories
• coordinate hazardous-waste storage and disposal.
