Accounting Specialist

It handles invoice and payment workflows, customer and vendor inquiries, deposits, account updates, and documentation, while assisting with audits and month-end close.

What you'll do

• Process accounts payable invoices and manage the unapproved invoice queue
• research discrepancies with project staff and vendors
• download and scan invoices
• make online payments as needed
• respond to purchase order and invoice inquiries
• process expense reports
• assist with audit preparation
• answer team phones
• process deposits and post them
• research chargebacks, returns, and bad checks
• resolve pre-collection issues
• verify account discrepancies
• respond to customer inquiries
• set up and update customer accounts
• audit resale certificates
• support weekly accounts receivable reviews and month-end close.
