What you'll do

• Escort and prepare patients for examinations
• collect vital signs and document information
• explain procedures and instructed medication or diet information
• assist providers during exams
• collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
• prepare and administer medications as directed
• collect blood, remove sutures, and change dressings
• manage logs and supplies
• triage messages
• train new clinical staff
• oversee patient flow
• monitor clinical guidelines and on-site lab compliance
• serve as VFC coordinator.
