The Registered Nurse (RN) — New Graduate Residency is onsite in Arlington, VA, with compensation of $40–$47.48 per hour. VHC Health’s accredited Nurse Residency Program supports new graduate nurses transitioning into professional practice at a teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center. The residency develops clinical reasoning, decision-making, leadership, and evidence-based practice skills through unit-based preceptorship and cohort learning. Residents provide nursing care while building confidence and professional capability to support patient safety and care outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients and supervise assigned personnel
• participate in unit-specific orientation and preceptorship, monthly cohort sessions, an evidence-based project, professional development planning, and required program and nurse evaluations.

Why this role

Requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, Virginia RN license or compact state nursing license, and BLS certification.
