Distribution Supervisor

What you'll do

• Manage daily department resources, warehouse inventories, loading schedules, trailer adds and shortages, departure schedules, and transportation routes
• train and coach employees on safety, quality, productivity, and attendance
• help ensure loads are delivered as scheduled
• assist customer service with dispatching call-in shipments
• communicate with wholesale transports about sanitation, manifests, load setup, shortages, complaints, checking, handheld computers, paperwork, and invoices
• comply with company policies and state and federal guidelines.

Why this role

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in transportation or business or equivalent work experience preferred. Two years of transportation and logistics supervisory experience preferred. CDL-A is preferred and may be required in the future.
