Compensation is $34 per hour. The Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician role is an onsite position based in Elkridge, MD. 55 - $34.25 per hour, and this role supports the pharmacy services at MedStar Health. This role exists to support the dispensing and delivery of sterile medications and related supplies for patients receiving infusion therapy in the home setting. The technician is accountable for purchasing medications and managing home infusion pumps to ensure continuity and safety of care.

What you'll do

• Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, dispense sterile IV admixtures including antibiotics, chemotherapy, TPN and other infusion therapies.
• Packages medications accurately following physician orders and pharmacy protocols.
• Performs final product checks of medication, supplies and home pumps for accuracy.
• Maintains complete, organized, and accurate files for all patients.
• Monitors stock levels of medications, infusion pumps, and supplies.
• Coordinates delivery setup and pickup of infusion equipment.
• Educates patients on reordering supplies and proper storage/use of medications.
